Carrie Underwood debuted her new single, “Cry Pretty” on last night’s Academy of Country Music Awards. It was her first performance since injuring her face in a bad fall down the steps at her Nashville home late last year.
The “gruesome” injury required 40 to 50 stitches in the right side of her face and Underwood warned fans that she might not look the same.
The Twitter world lit up with complaints that there was nothing wrong with her “new” face.

Really @carrieunderwood ?? All this talk about your face? Maybe spend some time in a burn unit, with some combat vets or disfigured victims of car accidents before you tell us how life changing your 40 stitches were. #Please #GetOverYourself #ACMAWARDS
