Rosh Hashanah, the two holy days of Jewish New Year, are a time for renewal and celebration of the world’s creation…

It is also the start of the Ten Days of Repentance which end with Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar which falls on Weds Oct 12 this year, and starts the night before at sundown…

During this holiday we celebrate with symbolic foods like the apples dipped in honey which is to symbolize thoughts for a “sweet new year”, pomegranates bring prosperity and the round Challah bread stands for the circle of life.

To you and your family La Shana Tova…

May the New Year bring all, inner peace and the desire to do good things and treat each other with kindness, especially those that are less fortunate than we are…
