Two high school basketball coaches were fired after they allegedly took the team’s bus to go buy alcohol. The incident occurred during the 2016-2017 season while the Tishomingo, Oklahoma boys basketball team was out of town for a basketball camp at Connors State College.
According to the report, a clerk at the store where the men purchased the alcohol reported the incident to the University which does not allow alcohol on it’s campus. The incident was then reported to the high school’s board members.
Once word got back to the board members, the team was forced to leave the camp early.
No students were onboard the bus at the time of the incident, however, some of the boys on the team noticed their coaches and the bus were missing.
“We noticed that the school bus was gone but he had told us to stay in our dorms,” a player from the Tishomingo basketball team told reporters at KXII-TV.
