Tuesday, a woman from Lauderhill, Florida was taken to Broward Health North hospital in Pompano Beach with non-life threatening injuries after her husband stabbed her with a boxcutter multiple times following an argument.

53-year-old George Hernandez who was arrested following the attack on his wife, Lillian Manante faces a charge of attempted premeditated murder.

The couple has not been married long and were both covered in blood when officers arrived at the scene, according to police.
