Parents of toddler killed by alligator at Disney Resort welcome new son

The parents of a 2-year-old boy who was killed by an alligator at a Disney World resort during a family vacation two years ago have welcomed another son.

Matt and Melissa Graves, whose son Lane was killed at the Florida park in 2016, shared the joyful in a statement, saying, “We are happy to announce the birth of our son, Christian Lane Graves.”

The couple has created the Lane Thomas foundation to help give other children the chance of life with the aid of organ donation.

Since the tragedy, new signs were put up near the scene to warn of alligators and other animals in the water.

Additionally, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa had a statue built in Lane’s memory near the lagoon.
