Photoshoot Unites World’s Tallest Man and World’s Smallest Woman

The world’s tallest man and shortest woman met for the first time for a photo shoot located at Egypt’s prominent Giza Pyramids.

Sultan Kösen,35, from Turkey holds the record of the worlds tallest man and Jyoti Amge,24, from India, holds the title of the world’s smallest woman, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

Kösen is 8 feet 1 inch tall, and Amge is 2 feet 6 inches tall.

The unlikely pair each were invited by the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board to visit Cairo for a photo shoot that’s aimed at increasing tourism.

Böth Kosen and Amge have unlikely conditions that induce their record holding heights.

Kösen’s height is due to a condition called “pituitary gigantism,” resulting from an over-production of growth hormone.

Amge’s height is related to a form of dwarfism she was diagnosed with at birth called achondroplasia.
