A woman is calling out the makers of Oreo after she says shes won one of their contest but never received her prize.
Taylor Young of Littleton, Colorado entered the My Oreo Creation contest, where customers were asked to submit their ideas for Oreo’s next flavor. Finalist were slated to win a $25,000 reward while one grand-prize winner would receive a $500,000 reward.
Young who had the idea for a cherry cola flavored Oreo, was selected as a finalist along with two others who submitted a kettle corn idea and a pina colada idea, however, she says she has not received her monetary prize.
The company sent her a letter stating that she was one of their finalist along with a sample of the finished product, but that was all.
Young says she’s overjoyed that she was one of the finalists and that people all over can enjoy her idea but she is disappointed that she did not receive the prize she was promised.
